The 2020 Engineering File Update

During production of the NuSTAR clock file, a number of gaps were identified in the engineering files sent to the Science Operation Center (SOC) from the Berkeley Mission Operations Center (MOC). These engineering files are primarily used by the clock correction code to track the temperature of the clock oscillator. See the clockfile page for more information on how these files are used.

The table below has a list of sequence IDs that were reprocessed and redelivered to the NuSTAR data archive at HEASARC. An improved clock correction file was produced based on the updated engineering files and is expected to provide marginally better performance than the previous clockfile. This is clockfiles are included with the NuSTAR CALDB 20201001 and later.

While the gaps in the engineering files were typically less than 6 hours, we have conservatively reprocessed and redelivered any sequence IDs starting or ending on the days indicated below in YYYY:DOY format.
